😱 $700k stolen in Bitcoin Heist!

A group of Israeli tourists got hit by a gang of robbers who made off with a massive $700,000 worth of Bitcoin in Costa Rica!

And get this, these thieves were no amateurs.

They rolled up in luxury cars, dressed like cops, and seemed to have inside information on who to target and what to take.

Surveillance footage revealed their methodical approach, which mimicked police tactics, and the fact that the criminals were accurate led the authorities to suspect an insider job.

But here’s the sad fact:

This incident is just one example of the growing threat that crypto holders face from organized and sophisticated criminals.

In Ukraine, a foreigner was even abducted and murdered for his Bitcoin!

And another recent report from Chainalysis shows that crypto crimes are becoming more complex and difficult to trace, requiring law enforcement to dedicate more resources to tackle the issue.

So, what can you do to protect yourself?

  • Keep your crypto low-key and avoid publicizing it.

  • If you need to move your seed phrase, consider storing a small amount in that wallet and using a passphrase to create a hidden wallet.

Also, this might now count, but just to be extra safe, consider avoiding crypto-related items like stationery, T-shirts, lanyards, etc.

🗣️ Mark Cuban's Advice on High-Risk Assets!

Attention all risk-takers!

Mark Cuban, the billionaire entrepreneur, suggests dedicating up to 10% of your savings to high-risk investments like Bitcoin or Ethereum.

But here's the catch: treat that money as if it's already gone.

According to Cuban, just like collecting art, shoes, or baseball cards, the value of high-risk assets largely depends on what someone else is willing to pay for them.

And that makes them a bit of a gamble, so, the key is to take calculated risks without putting your financial stability at risk.

He calls this strategy a "Hail Mary" play — a risky, last-ditch effort with the potential for high rewards

Oh, and dont think he’s only talking about cryptocurrencies!

Other high-risk investments, such as riskier stocks, real estate crowdfunding, venture capital funds, etc., are also worth considering.
