⚠️ Fake Trezor Wallet Found in Apple App Store!

A malicious Trezor app has appeared on the Apple App Store, under the fake name "Trezor Wallet Suite"

This false version was uncovered on Twitter and it can potentially put users at risk of losing their crypto. (here’s how)

Trevor’s real open source wallet should appear in mobile app stores as Trezor Suite Lite.

So, make sure you’re using the right app before you get in trouble.⚠️

Apple has extensive review guidelines for apps, so it’s a mystery how this fraudulent app was able to get online. See the guidelines here.

The question now is how did this get approved by Apple to be listed in the App Store? 🤨

I mean, it’s hard to believe that with the strict guidelines, especially for crypto related apps, something like this was still missed.🤷‍♀️

The worst part about this whole situation is that the app has been up for weeks.

Come on Apple! Why the hell is the app still online? 😡

It won’t be surprising if lawsuits pop up against Apple from users who suffered financial losses.

🚀 Get Ready for Polygon 2.0 and zkEVM Validium!

Polygon Labs has published a proposal to upgrade Polygon PoS to a zkEVM validium.

The proposal aims to enhance the security, performance, and integration of Polygon PoS within the Polygon 2.0 ecosystem. Read the full proposal here.

It also represents a significant milestone for Polygon as it would be the first time an existing chain of this magnitude incorporates zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs to become an L2 (Layer 2) solution.

Wow! This proposal would be a huge change.🤯

The upgrade to zkEVM validium is a crucial component of the Polygon 2.0 vision.

Polygon 2.0 aims to establish Polygon as the Value Layer of the Internet, offering unlimited scalability and unified liquidity via ZK technology.

And with this upgrade, the entirety of Polygon PoS users, assets, and state can migrate to the Polygon 2.0 ecosystem.

Basically, the Polygon PoS (zkEVM) would exist side-by-side with the Polygon L2 zkEVM.

The main difference is that PoS would have lower fees and would not inherit Ethereum's security.

The implementation could go live on mainnet by the end of Q1 2024, if it gathers significant support and consensus from the community.(Here’s how)
