🚨 Ethereum Mainnet Stopped Finalizing
...but then Recovered.

Ethereum's mainnet had a momentary setback in transaction finality yesterday, leaving its users in a brief state of panic.

New blocks could be proposed, but an unknown issue prevented them from being finalized.

Fortunately, after about 25 minutes, finality was restored, and the network was back to finalizing blocks.

Still, nobody knows the root cause of the problem. 🤷‍♂️

However, Ethereum developers are investigating the problem to prevent it from ever happening again.

🇺🇲 Congressman Brad Sherman Admits the US Prints Money out of Thin Air.

US Congressman Brad Sherman at the recent house meeting accused “crypto bros” of making money out of thin air.

He admitted the US govt also makes money out of thin air but then justified it by saying: “We can because we're the US government".

You can't make this sh*t up! 🤣

🦊 MetaMask now Allows US users to Purchase Crypto via PayPal

MetaMask now allows US users to purchase Ether through PayPal, making it the first Web3 wallet to offer Ether transactions via PayPal.

The integration will also allow users to transfer ETH from PayPal to MetaMask.

This new integration follows MetaMask's recent introduction of a feature called “Buy Crypto” which allows users to buy crypto with fiat currency directly from its Portfolio DApp.

In case you’re wondering, users from Africa aren't left out.

Users from countries like Nigeria no longer need to rely on centralized exchanges for buying crypto.

Metamask partnered with a crypto fintech firm MoonPay, enabling users in African countries to purchase crypto via instant bank transfers.

Metamask is determined on keeping its status as the go-to wallet in crypto.
