Democratic Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has made some specific Bitcoin-focused commitments!

He proposed a plan to back at least 1% of issued T-bills with hard assets, such as gold, silver, platinum, or bitcoin, to strengthen the U.S. dollar, combat inflation, and promote financial stability.

But that’s not all!

Kennedy also plans to exempt the conversion of bitcoin to the U.S. dollar from capital gains taxes” to ensure innovation, privacy, and investment.

No thanks, he’s just phishing for votes, right?

Election year can be pretty wild, with candidates promising everything under the sun.😒 

Remember that Mayor of New York City who said he'd turn the city into a crypto hub? Yeah, that didn’t happen!🙄

This somewhat far-fetched plan isn’t coming out of nowhere though.

They reiterated his slew of commitments to foster Bitcoin adoption during a speech at the Bitcoin 2023 conference in May.

They also align with the views of his uncle, President John F. Kennedy, who understood the importance of hard currency and the dangers of having pure fiat currency with no other option.

We can foresee a paradigm shift in Bitcoin politics, but of course, he must get elected first and keep these promises.🤞

📌 How Ethereum Plans to Make Crypto Wallets as Simple as Email.

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin is on to something huge!

He spoke about an upgrade that could make “managing a crypto wallet as easy as managing an email account” at the Ethereum Community Conference (ETHCC) in Paris.

It’s the EIP-4337, also known as Account Abstraction Using Alt Mempool.

The upgrade allows users to create non-custodial wallets as programmable smart contracts, which would unlock features like easy wallet recovery, signless transactions, and team wallets.

My inbox would LOVE this! Whatever simplifies this process is a win for the space.👏

So, how will it work?

The upgrade would enable the use of “paymasters,” allowing users to pay for gas fees with whatever token they transact with.

It also incorporates signature aggregators, allowing multiple signers to join together, and only one gets used in a transaction.

This upgrade could be one of the driving catalysts for Web3 adoption worldwide.🌎

Gotta love, Vitalik! He’s always working on the right things.💪

And the best part is that it won't require any changes to the underlying protocol, like other upgrades before it.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the only Ethereum upgrade currently in the works - Proto-dank sharding, or EIP-4884, is also underway.
